Singing Trail Rehfelde - Werder - Zinndorf
German - Polish Singing Trail
Rehfelde is one of the few towns in Germany that calls a Singing Trail its own. The trail was brought to life through the efforts of the Rehfelde Tourism Board and the Rehfelde Singers Circle along with private donations.
Beginning with the motto “Where there is music there can be no evil”, the trail offers the opportunity to hike not only through villages, but also through fields and meadows. All along the twelve kilometer route stand granite and fieldstone song plaques with 25 German and eight Polish folksongs that visitors are invited to sing with joy.
The connection of active relaxation with the care of cultural heritage plus the opportunity to foster cross-border German-Polish understanding lends the trail a unique flair. The stone tablets also include QR-Codes offering a link to each song.
